Yes, the dreaded thing that nearly everyone gets, but no one likes to talk about: ACNE, pimples, breakouts, whatever you like to call them. All I know is that NO ONE WANTS THEM! No matter what you call them, waking up in the morning to find a nice, big white head staring at you from the mirror can just destroy your day. What can be even more aggravating are the products you use to clear up and prevent your acne.

"What product is for me though?"

Well, I do not have the answer for that question, but what I can tell you is if you're considering using Clearasil Ultra Acne+Marks Wash and Mask don't bother! First off, the price is a little expensive. I bought the 6.78 fl. oz. for around $6.99. I was reluctant to even take it up to the register once I saw the price but the commercials I saw for it on TV made me buy it anyways. (luckily I had a $1 off coupon). If you take a look at the active ingredients, there's only one listed: 2% of Salicylic Acid. I have seen that on other products I used so I was not too worried about any mysterious ingredients that would destroy my skin (which is actually very sensitive, may I add). As the tube says, this product can be used two different ways, as a wash or a mask. Since it was my first time using it and to allow my skin to become used it, I started using it once a day, applied before bed as the wash. At first it looked as though it was helping; my pimples were decreasing in their redness. A few days later, I figured I might as well try the mask for a little extra help. The instructions are to use up to 3 times a week and to leave on for one minute. Easy enough, but I did feel a little burning once I got closer to the one minute mark. Following this routine for about a week and a half, I was expecting to have a noticeably clearer face. Not the case. Not only did this product not help my acne, it actually caused me to break out more. Noted, they were not my typical red pimple, but instead they were medium-sized white heads that I had never gotten before. Figuring this was just a little acne episode, I continued using the product and to my dismay, broke out even more! I had had enough and I stopped using Clearasil Ultra Acne+Marks Wash and Mask at once.

What's Vanessa say for Clearasil Ultra Acne+Marks Wash and Mask?

Don't waste your time! This product didn't work for me. It did the COMPLETE opposite of what it's supposed to do- it CAUSED acne, didn't clear it up! Along with saving your time, you'll save your money. $6.99 is a little too much for my preference.
